Karl Krückl looks back at 33 years of professional experience as a lawyer (1985 to 2018) and 38 years as counsel for the defence (1982 to 2020). As a university professor’s assistant and later as a lecturer at the Johannes Kepler University, as well as professor at the Informatik- und Medizintechnik-HTL Leonding (Upper Secondary School for Informatics and Medical Technology), he conveyed his enthusiasm for law so convincingly that subsequently almost one hundred of his upper secondary school graduates studied law. His professional articles deal mainly with medical and criminal law, but also with recent legal history. Analytical skills and consistency in implementation are skills he also needs for his long-time hobby of flying airplanes (Austrian champion in precision flights for motorized aircraft, standard class, 1995).
